So, having worked as a UX designer for some years made me identify some characteristics of this industry that I find problematic in some ways. I don’t mean that these characteristics are inherently bad, but I do believe they hinder the UX industry to grow and perform the best possible. Included in the list is also characteristics of service design, which is a very closely related field.

What are your experiences with these characteristics? Do you have more to add to the list? Do you have any ideas on how to overcome the problematic sides of these characteristics?
